From the mouth of a converted republican
I just left dinner and had the greatest conversation with a reformed republican. A southern woman from West Virginia, this IRS investigator was sitting at our table and kept mentioning Bush and tax cuts as well as federal agency cuts. (She said lots of IRS people have been let go because of ** and the IRS is planning to go after the offshore tax evaders, etc. :eyes: I recalled seeing a 60 minutes expose about the IRS and in summary it concluded that more low income people are audited and hounded by the IRS than the rich off shore businesses because the IRS doesn't have the sophistication to unravel the elaborate corporate tax shelters.)

Anyhew...after the conversation died down and people began to talk amongst themselves I turned to her and asked if she was pro-Bush. She said she is a former republican who will never vote republican again because of the last two stolen elections. (Wooohooo!)

She knew about the exit poll inconsistencies and talked about the incivility and meanness and power hungry spirit of the republicans.

I was SO glad to talk to a lucid person after talking to a group of Dems a few weeks ago at a party who believed the last election results were valid.

Just wanted to share that everybody is not asleep out here.
