Just ONE more mile per gallon out of those 10-ton rolling Codpieces?
I heard about building new refineries on old army bases, out of reach of the Sierra Club and EPA (didja know that?)
More Nooo-Koo-Lar power plants, and wow, he's gonna let us "keep more'n yer own MONEY" if we by Priuses!

Not a damn thing about increasing fuel economy for new vehicles. Or did I miss that?

1. Actually, the rethugs are...
scrapping the tax-cuts for hybrid vehicles. At least that is the way it was a few days ago.

2. Give automakers a regulatory kick in the butt...
to force 'em to improve their engineering? No way. Why that's un-American! Innovation and improvement? Not under *'s watch!

3. How would the oil profiteers make money if CAFE standards were implemented
There is no logic in that :sarcasm: :puke: we could solve our oil problem and not even have to drill in Yellowstone and Yosemite.

4. You know I was wondering why they were closing bases
in the middle of a war. Now I know. It's to turn over the bases to big oil companies. I bet they only have to pay a very minimal cost for the land and infrastructure. Why don't we just pay our taxes directly to big business and save the repukes the effort of having to think up new and innovated ways to give corporations our tax dollars.
