Was dumbay on drugs?
I say yes. He was awfully calm & didn't seem his normal hyper active self. He ansered all the questions & only said "in other words" about 12 times. For him that is a record.

I say he was drugged up. What say you?

best

1. He answered all the questions if ...
by answering the questions you mean recited some prepared paragraphs on the broad subject of the question. That's not, to me, actually ANSWERING the question. More like avoiding. Dodging. It's what they do to give the appearance of actually responding.

14. Lordy, I didn't mean he
actuallyanswered the questions. He just didn't seem as defensive as usual. And, he was much calmer. I'm sure he was drugged.

Actually, I don't know that he was drugged since he didn't repeat the same things over & over again. E.G. It's hard work, I understand, He forgot Poland, etc, etc.

5. Yeah , he did answer the questions
but he still did have his --- 'UHH ... & .... DUH' moments. Typical Bush responses. Just par for the course for him. The jury's still out on this one IMHO.
LOL!

7. no he isn't on drugs, he is wired and he doesn't have a clue. He is trying
to listen to what someone is saying in his ear while trying to talk and very obviously, painfully so he is unable to do both or should I say either?

8. I think he's both medicated AND has a wireless mic in his ear
He seemed to strain to listen a few times. He also had cotton mouth as usual.

Neither helped him avoid the uh, uh, uh, duh...ir, ir, ir...or stuttering.

Bush Taking Anti-Depressants to Control Mood Swings
By CHB Staff

"Bush's Erratic Behavior Worries White House Aides" excerpt:

President George W. Bush’s increasingly erratic behavior and wide mood swings have the halls of the West Wing buzzing lately as aides privately express growing concern over their leader’s state of mind.

In meetings with top aides and administration officials, the President goes from quoting the Bible in one breath to obscene tantrums against the media, Democrats and others that he classifies as “enemies of the state.”

Worried White House aides paint a portrait of a man on the edge, increasingly wary of those who disagree with him and paranoid of a public that no longer trusts his policies in Iraq or at home.

“It reminds me of the Nixon days,” says a longtime GOP political consultant with contacts in the White House. “Everybody is an enemy; everybody is out to get him. That’s the mood over there.”

"Bush Taking Anti-Depressants to Control Mood Swings" excerpt:

President George W. Bush is taking anti-depressant drugs to control his erratic behavior, depression and paranoia, Capitol Hill Blue has learned.

The prescription drugs, administered by Col. Richard J. Tubb, the White House physician, can impair the President’s mental faculties and decrease both his physical capabilities and his ability to respond to a crisis, administration aides admit privately.

“It’s a double-edged sword,” says one aide. “We can’t have him flying off the handle at the slightest provocation but we also need a President who is alert mentally.” Tubb prescribed the anti-depressants after a clearly-upset Bush stormed off stage on July 8, refusing to answer reporters' questions about his relationship with indicted Enron executive Kenneth J. Lay.

“Keep those motherfuckers away from me,” he screamed at an aide backstage. “If you can’t, I’ll find someone who can.” Bush’s mental stability has become the topic of Washington whispers in recent months. Capitol Hill Blue first reported on June 4 about increasing concern among White House aides over the President’s wide mood swings and obscene outbursts.

Why can't his cult see he's nasty? They don't talk like that at the Crawford Evangelical Apostolic Primitive Baptist Church!

21. there is another reason for his incoherent answers.
Think about it. What if you had someone talking in your ear, you were also speaking at the time and what you are saying is all lies that you have to remember who you told what because no one outside your inner circle is ever told the truth. And the kicker is that you usually use very politically incorrect terms for ethnic groups and you have a gutter mouth, put that all together and that is one helluva acting job you would have to pull off and it would take the ability to really think on your feet and be congenial as hell without really meaning it, he is a lousy actor and the whole deal is unraveling.

10. I missed it...
and the preemptive prgramming. I went and bought jeans instead.

DUH-bya is a complete dolt all the time. He never makes any sense. I listen to whole speeches, he says absolutely nothing. Nothing. He just spews groups of words and then smirks, looking at the audience for thunderous applause that doesn't materialize. PUH thetic.

22. That was the most preplanned presidential press conference
in US history. EVERY question he needed to answer to keep the sheeple under full zombie-like control was asked and answered in that "press conference." Hitler would have been proud!
