that's REALLY saying something. Even if you didn't spell my name right. ;)

BTW, please don't delete this as a sex thread.

33. I am in total agreement. Instead of watching this scoundrel....
...I would rip out my eyes with my bare hands, then stand on my head and urinate in the empty sockets.

It continues to amaze me that ANYONE watches him. Who put the drugs in the water supply?

15. I watched it too
I figure I have to watch the enemy very close. That doesn't mean I didn't rant and rave for an hour while I was cooking dinner.

The hubby, child, dog and cats stayed outta Mamma's way after watching what the baaaaaadddddd man had to say on TV.

Unfortunately it is a necessary evil. <ugh> like going to the dentist.

...and in the next breath he calls their leadership tyrants who starve their own people, run concentration camps etc. While true, it's not exactly diplomatic to point it out to everyone....

In addition to his abysmal speaking skills, Bush has a bit of a tendency to....uh, lie. I don't have much interest in what a liar has to say. I have no more interest in what the Bushophantic press has to say.

23. With the exception of around three minutes I watched it all.
Oddly enough I fell asleep during the press conference for around 3 minutes.
One of my cats woke me up. I can't explain it, but there was something very draining or extra sleep inducing about this evening's press conference.

But watched the Q & A portion of the festivities.

Pleased to see a few reporters, David Gregory in particular, actually ask some real questions.

I'm telling ya this guy hears more voices than Berkowitz. He's talking to his tie again and apparently it's talking back.
A novice news anchor would never react so obviously to the "prompts" in his ear.
I have to watch, cause I'm smelling a meltdown.

35. Accidentally, and didn't change the channel right away
I was trying to watch another show, which of course was pre empted. Didn't hit me quite fully for 10 minutes that fug face was giving a speech. I caught some of his crap about gas prices. But eventually came to my senses and changed the channel.

I admire those of you who can sit through it to keep the rest of us informed.

43. Purely unintentionally here, too.
When I called CBS yesterday afternoon, they told me they were going to run their regularly scheduled programming. Silly me. I believed them, and even told over 68,000 people.

Turned on the tv at 8 to watch Survivor, and there he was.

Spent the next 1/2 hour ranting and raving and trying to get through to CBS to no avail. As angry as I was, might as well have been watching.

36. He embarrasses me
Chimp is the leader of the free-world, watching his antics is on national tv is humiliating.

He doesn't speak plain English, he speaks as if his public is 6 years old and he's lecturing.

For my own sanity I try not to watch his speeches, if I do it's morbid curiosity

41. I was going to say all of it
But after seeing the prevailing mood here, I will say some of it. Let's say I monitored it while reading the threads here.
There was really nothing of substance, but when he talked about the investor class and looked inside his empty skull, I cracked up. Kind of a Quote Quote Dr Evil moment. :silly:

All I can make of it is that Iraq is still going bad, No child left behind is still a failed adventure, he wants to get his and his Pa's paws on the SS money. They can't get enough; must be some more black ops that need funding. This is supposed to take the glow off of Sibel Edmunds. :hangover:

I saw him walk out and turned it off. Turned it back on when he was getting wild eyed about troop withdrawal then turned it off again.

Did the networks, primarily NBC, cut him off or did this embarrassment to our nation end right before nine o'clock?
