Men charged with theft after claiming buried cash

I'm not defending theft, but they made the fatal error of concocting this story about finding buried money, which invariably got the attention of the national media.

They should've just shut up and quietly sold the bills individually on eBay...:eyes:

I THOUGHT those bills looked pretty good for having been buried for almost 70 years, and the cans weren't rusted, either.
