7. So where's the flower vendor...
...who was kidnapped in D.C. a couple of weeks ago? Oh, that's right, I forgot we're not supposed to care about her because she's not a shining example of white, middle class America.

9. Wasn't that woman Hispanic?

And yes, you are totally right. The media in this country needs to be shot.

Has there been any follow up to that story? I remember reading about this in the Washington Post.

11. But despite the fact...
....that she's pretty, white and affluent or, as you put it, "a shining example of white, middle class America", it's still OK to be delighted to hear that she's been found alive and safe, right?

15. She's simply missing at this point.
I can get her name. But she wasn't kidnapped in DC. She was on her way to a concert at the old Capitol Centre (Who knows what they are they are calling it this year?) in Largo, MARYLAND. More than one performer has gotten booed for saying "Hello Washington!" Which is quickly followed by "Oh sorry. Hello MARYLAND! They told me this was Washington DC."

17. Bingo!
We don't want no poor brown women on our teevees! (sarcasm alert)

Yes, the abducted D.C. woman was Hispanic, poor, and didn't speak English -- ergo, the media isn't interested in her. BTW, she isn't the first one to go missing in this D.C. case.

13. I wonder...
....if they'll still be married later today or if she and everyone else will be just too emotionally drained to pull it off. Pretty amazing either way. I'll be curious to hear the details.

And I'm thrilled for her family and her fiancé. They must all be SO relieved.
