Do you think if 4 bombs had gone off today in London
or Ottawa or Paris it would have made the lead story in the news?

5. I'm not so sure
There was a time in the early 80s where bombs were going off quite frequently in London. I only knew about it because a relative was living there at the time. She even witnessed a nail bomb going off that nearly hit one of her friends. Nothing much in the news over here.

Anything that happens "regularly" is not news, it's the same old, same old.

The conservation movement is a breeding ground of communists
and other subversives. We intend to clean them out,
even if it means rounding up every birdwatcher in the country.

Who cares about those commie pinko Europeans, with their free healthcare, 35-hour workweeks, subsidized childcare, and month of vacation a year?

Isn't there a NASCAR race or a playoff game today?

:sarcasm:
