Why does Pat Robertson like Rudy Giuliani and not John McCain?
Did John McCain say some mean things about Pat Robertson and the Religious right?

Warning, Newsmax article: http://www.newsmax.com/archives/ic/2005/5/1/102522.shtml

I guess we don't have to worry about John McCain in 08' with the Religious Right against him. Rudy Giuliani, the pro gay pro choice candidate seems to be the choice of the Pat Robertson. What a Hypocrite!

2. Robertson is Stark. Staring. Insane.
Any day now he's going to start foaming at the mouth in mid-sentence and bite the nearest person. With any luck at all, it'll be O'Reilly or Hannity.
:silly:

11. John McCain called Robertson and the religious right
"evil" in the aftermath of the SC Republican presidential primary in 2000.

Robertson et al had done a number on McCain in that state in the name of helping their boy Bush.

19. That explains it
I remember seeing that video of that. McCain was on some show with Bush and he was giving them a lecture on how bad they were on all they did with him. I'm still wondering why he didn't fight hard enough for them though.

16. Yes, Robertson would have no power left.
He would lose his control on many politicians. I suppose I could live with McCain as president since he hates the Religious Right.

21. So true
All you have to do is watch the RNC convention. 9/11, 9/11, Saddam Hussein is evil, 9/11, 9/11, smear Kerry, 9/11, 9/11. That's the whole point on why they wanted the convention in NYC even though people didn't want them there. They could've had it anywhere but noooo they had to choose a site close enough to the WTC.
