It was a constant hit on Google News but if you look now, it's limited to a choice few outlets... Weird. You'd think something this dangerous would be headlining, especially as it unfortunately grows worse.

My thoughts and prayers for those involved; this is one nasty bug.

1. Thanks for the reminder ...
... NPR still is pretty consistent reporting on this, but they ARE devoting far less time than they had...

2. Thanks for that
I didn't know that NPR had continued coverages.

Wasn't it nearly a month ago when the WHO were saying that they might not be able to contain it for various reasons? That's the sort of thing I'd imagine reporters to buy into and never let go.

Unless they're told otherwise? I don't get what's going on.

3. But..but...Paula Abdul's screwing contestants on "Idol"!
Doesn't THAT merit something?? :sarcasm:
Marburg and other hemorrhagic fevers are nasty business.

4. They ARE!? =dashes to tv=
Heh.. It just feels different than the usual drift factor, or obscuration via runaway brides, bright shiny objects of the moment etc.

An article regarding some 800,000 citizens in Sudan (IIRC) having AIDS has fallen off the planet as well.

Doesn't thrill us, doesn't affect our pocketbook, the hell with it. (trademark)
