NPR Story -Religious Schools Train Lawyers for Culture Wars
http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=4632072

Morning Edition, May 6, 2005 · In the past few years, religious conservatives have realized what their liberal counterparts saw long ago: The place where the culture wars are won or lost is in the courtroom. Some religious leaders, including Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell, have set up schools to train their own battalion of lawyers.

1. Bar Exams
Luckily few of these schools are accredited by the American Bar Association and many of these "graduates" are unable to pass their state bar exams.

But, still it is a scary new front on the culture war.

2. Part of excellent series
They've had a number of good stories this week on religion and separation of church and state.

Here's a link a blog entry on LUTD on another:

3. Unfortunately, this is old news.
These places have been around for quite a while. Their products used to be considered fringe, but they just kept pumping them out. Now, we're in a pickle because they've infiltrated and are committed to carrying out a religious agenda.
