Did anyone listen to Justice Talking on NPR tonight??

It was about the Stem Cell debate and was great as usual, but I was surprised by some of the questions from audience members. The ones against it. I don't think they have a good handle on the process, or they have been listening to rhetoric too much and not following the actual science enough.

While people should know more about this, I feel like it is a major failing of our news organizations to simply report what the people for or against it are saying. They need to actually educate people as to what the process is how these eggs are obtained. What would happen to them if they weren't used for it, the potential benefits and limitations. Where is the reporting on these issues rather than just repeating the arguments?

1. "It is a major failing of our news

(sarcasm on)Yet another stain on the otherwise impeccable image of the US mainstream media (sarcasm off).
