What the nuclear option is all about: Roe vs Wade
Once the nuclear option is accepted, W will have the authority to put any right wing idiot to the Supreme Court he wants. And there will be no stopping him.

This will happen prior to the 2006 elections setting up the battle cry of overturning Roe vs Wade.

These guys have it all planned and they don't care who they scorch to do it. It is within reach and the nuclear option is the last stumbling block.

1. I'd like to see them try.
Right now it's like watching an idiot load a gun aggressively before shooting himself in the foot.

2. Not only abortion
but birth control too. We are already seeing these pharmacists refusing to dispense birth control pills. A fertilized egg is a baby. Connor Peterson law is from conception on. Griswold v Ct., which was the precedence for Roe, was about birth control, not abortion. The right to privacy for a woman to control her body and whether to have children or not. They cannot strike down Roe without also striking down Griswold and you can bet Scalia, Thomas, Owens, and Brown would like nothing better than to impose their RELIGIOUS views on the country. Anything that MIGHT destroy a fertilized egg will be considered abortion. They will include the Pill and IUD's in that.

I fear the people of this country will not wake up until it is too late and we are living back in the 1800s again.

4. In fact that may be the major concern, stop birth control, stop "free sex"
That was another thing the sixties brought in was the sexual revolution and "free sex". They blame that as the major moral decline of our country. Do away with birth control and women lose their independence. I think other countries would still have them available but hard to get in America. Not a very nice picture.

3. Which is why the "morning after pill" or Plan B is sooooo important
Make the information about this option available so that the abortion issue becomes irrelevent. With swift access to this contraception option it exposes the rightwingnuts and activists for who they truly are !

What did Clinton say about abortion...safe legal and rare.

5. Well, DUH!
Of course, that is what this is about.

And don't forget to add:

Ability for CuckooBananas to rule by decree with no checks or balances and with two houses of Congress rubberstamping everything.

6. Yep - Nice Flash Presentation To Go With It
It's nothing less than an assault on the fairer sex. Check out the following:

I guess this means that during the campaign, I didn't believe the "W Stands For Women" propaganda!
