The flushing of the Koran down the toilet is true. The Red Cross says so
and that is good enough for me.Exactly like Hans Blix said there were no WMD's in Iraq and Cheney said there were.

These kinds of lies that are needed by our megalomaniacs to continue their hold on our people's minds, will ultimately undo the framework of the massive disinformation that has built their strategy to this point. Just as in Latin America, our stooges in Egypt,Saudi Arabia,Kuwait and Pakistan are forever condemned by public opinion that they have been accomplices in the desecration of the Koran by the Americans. No amount of sugar coating this is going to undo that indelible image of an American soldier flushing the holy book down the toilet.

Democracy in the Middle East from now on can only mean a new way of looking at things:No More American hegemony over them.

True Democracy in the Middle East, as elsewhere, would mean the end of America dictating things.

4. One mistake we make is that people in other lands swallow the lies we are
fed.Just as their deaths do not count for much in our media, their opinions do not count for much either. That is where our media commit their biggest mistake. They assume that only the opinions of those who have money to pay for their advertising count. The people in other countries have a different way of counting. They remember the indignities for generations, they remember the wars and tortures. These are the memories that will ultimately undo us.

I am not at all concerned by our media's not reporting these atrocities. There is a different accountant counting these.

7. I agree with you completely
That is why I don't watch the CNM. It is frustrating to deal daily with folks who have no clue what is going on because they do rely on it.

2. Has the chimp determined that the Red Cross...
hates freedom yet? Or are they amassing WMD? I am waiting to see how they will approach denouncing the Red Cross.

5. I agree with you.A disciplined Army like that of the U.S. does one thing
well.It obeys orders.

6. What is amazing to me is...
we all saw some of the more mild things that they did to people, in pictures, and it was horrific. Why in the world would anyone think that they would treat the Koran with any respect, behind closed doors?

9. It is old news, actually
No one made a stink about it in the past.

Think about it---isn't it amazing that this has fallen on Newsweeks head?

If you are familiar with the CIA Textbook on Psychological Operations In Guerrilla Warfare:

http://www.tscm.com/CIA_PsyOps_Handbook.html

Doesn't seem like this already documented report was used to agitate populations and then target Newsweek to make an example for all US media sources not to expose the ugly truth. Meanwhile, politicians do their bit selling the US is the beacon of Democracy crap.

10. You need to remember only one sentence uttered by Kay Graham.
There are certain things it is best for the American people not to know.
