We know the power-hungry BFEE is desperate to keep their Evil Empire going (Jeb, Geroge P., etc.) and we know that Cheney runs the Admin., so who knows what they will think of next??

Could be one reason they would send the Stepford wife on a ME tour. Watch for more of this waste of US taxpayers $$.

20. Why is that a nightmare? She is not very intelligent
Less so than Bush*. Bush* puts on a good act so everyone will underestimate him, Laura is just not to bright. You can't possibly believe Bush* is getting everything he wishes because he is a dunce can you? Everything about this Administration is fake, except for Laura who considers herself "That Lump in the Bed"

24. I thought the reason it was a nightmare would be obvious but here goes
anyway.

It was a nightmare because "they" will make sure she wins and shrub* will be in OUR house for another 4 years with the same "adults" fucking every last one of us over as hard and as fast as "they" can!

You can't possibly think President Pickles would be a good thing, could you? My word I can't believe I just typed "President Pickles"! AAGGAGHAGHAGHAGHGHGHHGAGHHGHAHAGHH!!!!!

19. Yeah - cracked me up too. THAT would be a fun campaign!?
Can you imagine the RNC ads in a Laura vs Hillary race?

"Laura Bush - more confirmed kills than any other First Lady"

Personally, I don't think her pharmacist could handle the pressure...

11. I sincerely doubt it.
First of all, if they want a figurehead, they've got plenty of males to fill the post. Laura is supposed to be the helpmate and is occasionally trotted out to make a speech.

Secondly, I can't envision her devoting that much energy to anything, let alone a campaign. She really is generally private and probably prefers to be taken care of and left alone. It's just a hunch I have, but I've seen nothing that convinces me to change that opinion.

12. I posted that thought yesterday.
Also, it looks to me like they are pumping up the Bill Gates trial balloon. They are indeed desperate because all of the R's in Congress are showing how insane they are.

16. That's as serious a thought as this one:
Edited on Fri May-20-05 10:54 AM by Husb2Sparkly

How many years did he 'run'?

Lyndon LaRouche without the meaness and with a huge heart and a smile. Ralph Nader without the hair shirt and sack cloth.

As a clown, I supported him.

17. Oh, c'mon!
A little dose of reality here. No one's idiot enough to run Laura Bush for president. She's completely unqualified. She'd get creamed in an election. She's out there touring right now because her approval rating is well over 50 percent and Bush's, for the first time in a long time, is under 50 percent -- 47 to 47 approve/disapprove, according to a Wall Street Journal poll.

That's all it is. Putting the friendly face on the administration.

21. No...not 2008....they are grooming her for 2005 or 2006. My gut tells
me that they are going to take Bush out of the picture and if Cheney survives, he and Laura will run the show.

Cheney survives = Cheney isn't taken down for his Halliburton death, profit, and perpetual war dealings.

right wing fundamentalists believe the woman's place is in the home, 5 steps behind her husband.

Not a chance.
