1. I seriously doubt it, since
they believe the war is over.

Mission Accomplished, and all that! :patriot:

2. They might, but they definitely don't keep track of Iraqi civilians
Either that, or six figure numbers are just an abstraction to them.

Oddly enough they do consider 3,000 to be a big number.

4. Freepers think it's "safer than in Detroit"
yes, yes, I know the statistical fallacy--it's just that I've heard that idiotic take on Iraq's dangers stated in those terms from several sources.

(And no, I don't hang out at Freak Republic--ptooeey!)

10. That's because...
...Detroit is full of switchblade-wielding, crack-addicted negro liberals!

Anyone else get the impression that this is a none-too-subtle implication of this ludicrous statment?

13. You mean it's not?
j/k.

Actually, I was just there a few weeks ago. Yes, the city looks like it's been through hell and back, but I never felt especially threatened during my stay there.

7. Bad ref, sorry
I was looking to make a ref that Fox was out of touch, and given that freeps worship that station...

So I was making a comment about the age of the car... sorry it was bad...

9. No they won't because they would just fall off the end of the world
Horses have enough sense to turn around when they get to the end. Horseless carriages would not know enough to do so. We must fight the introduction of horseless carriages to save lives.

11. LOL
My mother was almost killed by a horseless carriage while she was getting water from the well (She is not really dead), I hear that they use the power of the devil to move.

Thanks for the welcome...

14. Deaths? What deaths?
Everybody's in happyland now that the wonderful and life-giving US soldiers dropped happy flowers all over the country.

The Iraqis are dancing in the streets and inviting all their neighboring countries over for a huge block party!

Disco anyone?
