16. Thanks, everyone, I am doing fine.

Four more radiation treatments to go! I stay busying preparing for the move back to North Carolina, keeping up with children (Jack's birthday party was today), responding to letters and cards I have gotten (still boxes and boxes to go -- thank you all), and planning for the new house. I do get online some, but not as much as I would like, so I do more reading than writing. So I read here (sometimes it makes me happy; sometimes not, but that's okay) without really having the time for a thoughtful post.

You and your family are in my thoughts. I read John's book "Four Trials" last summer and was very inspired by the cases he had taken on and the people he had helped. I miss his voice in the US Senate but know that he will continue to seek ways to serve the greater good. Happy birthday to your youngest and best to you all.

I see him fighting for us, all people, in the name of democracy in such a strategic fashion.

I hadn't ever heard of Redfern until I saw his bio on the One America Committee website. (I'm from NC). He is YOUNG, 41 years old. He certainly does sound like a rising star! Maybe he will run for President one day. ;)
