Law and Order takes a stabb at Tom Delay...
It's a new episode (as far as I know, maybe not) where a judge is killed in her home, and another judge is killed in plain daylight. They have no leads, and the lead detective says, "Maybe we should be looking for someone in a Tom Delay t-shirt". :)

2. I heard that!
Combined with last night's SVU episode, the L&O writers have really been taking some swipes at Bushco.

8. Oh, no
Law and Order has been one of my favorite shows for a long time because it really comes across as fair and balanced, in that sometimes 'justice' is in the eye of the viewer. It's always been a show that can lead to deep discussions..."What if?" or "Was that right?"

No show that does that rather than just preaching to you can possibly be ANTI-Democratic.

7. I missed it too...
I think my mom recorded it, though, so I can watch it when I get home from school tomorrow.

10. I wondered if someone was going to post that
Many shows have been taking swipes at Bushco. I loved it when the judge was going to keep the guy in jail by collusion and said they'd do anything to keep the shooter off the street. The DA said no, he didn't agree, he believed in the constitution.

11. In case you missed the fall out

The best quote from the article is below:

Creator/executive producer Dick Wolf added: "But I do congratulate Congressman DeLay for switching the spotlight from his own problems to an episode of a television show."

12. Best possible reply Wolf could have made!
And that's the rebuttal most of the media are playing, so score 2 big points for "Law & Order"!
