I live in Southern California and want to volunteer to help our country get out of this shit hole that shrub has put us in.

Does anyone know of organizations needing help? I am tired of "talking the talk"...I want to "walk the walk"!! (sorry for the cliche).

That's the organization that grew out of Howard Dean's campaign. Of the groups named, it's the most active at the local grassroots level.

7. Be the media

Something I've been doing is putting out flyers everywhere I go, and "witnessing" to strangers about the Bush cabal, the lies that got us into Iraq, and now our frightening march toward war with Iran.

The Faux News watchers have no idea what is happening and most will give you a fair hearing of what you have to say.
