Does anyone worry that we accept the following as normal?

1.Rumsfeld wants to wage wars from Space based platforms using
"Space Rods" raining down with pin point precision on any location
on earth.
2. That not one Congressman or Senator or anyone in our Press has called the War on Iraq by its proper name:A War of Aggression?

3. That we can work ourselves up about Paris Hilton's burger commercials more than the sufferings of the tsunami victims?

Constantly.

To the point where it's interfering with my ability to focus on more mundane things.

Is that good or bad?

On edit: And can I somehow make a living at it?

2. It bothers me to no end.....
the entire country is in some bush induced mass hysteria and intellectual vacuum. I really don't know how much longer I'm going to be able to take it. Canada, and it's beacon of sanity, is 70 miles away from me. It looks better each and every day.

8. LOL! I love Keith Olbermann's take on this last night.
Paraphrasing here, he said, speaking about the number of people who watch vs. the number of people who voted, "Oh my God! This isn't democracy! It's nothing but a popularity contest! American Idol: dumping talent for mediocracy."
