Rummi's response to a question re: Boeing GAO Report
Anyone catch the Pentagon briefing on CSPAN.
One reported asked for the Secretary's response to the GAO report suggesting that Mr. Rumsfeld either personally approved the Boeing deal or granted his undersecretary the authority to complete the transaction.
The Secretary responds and I quote, "That was in the Report."
Reporter prods him for a response.
The Secretary says that he will have to review the report and then respond upon examination...then quickly moved to a new question.
