Sean Hannity Makes GOP VA Governor Candidate buy $10K Worth of his book
"Deliver us from Evil"

This was in the Daily Break section of the Virginia Pilot on Saturday. Sorry, but I don't have a link.

"Sean Hannity gave Virginia Republicans a hefty reading assignment this spring when he spoke at a fund-raiser for GOP gubernatorial candidate Jerry W. Kilgore.

The conservative talk-show host required Kilgore's campaign to buy $10,000 worth of his book, "Deliver us from Evil", according to a report released last week by the Virginia Public Access Project.

The star of Fox News Channel's "Hannity & Colmes" spoke at an April fund-raiser for Kilgore and Stephen d. Newman, a Lynchburg senator. The book purchase served as Hannity's speaking fee.

Tim Murtaugh, a spokesman for Kilgore, acknowledged it's unusual for campaigns to pay for speakers at fund-raisers. He said copies of the book were given to supporters"

- So that's how you get on the best seller list!!

But we shouldn't pay any attention to Rush or Hannity. They're just "entertainers". They're not paid propagandists for the Republicans or anything.
