His numbers have dropped below 50% as critical mass takes hold. He has the gall to go before the U.N. and deliver the most arrogant speech, essentially DARING them all to just try to stop him from any further unilateral moves. And at the same time, he's telling them to help pay for his war - and to keep their hands off the oil if they want to play in his new sandbox..

He continues juxtapositioning Saddam with the terrorists and 9/11, repeating the neverending mantra. He talks about WMD as though they really once did and still do exist. He blabbers on and on about rape-rooms. Does he know something about rape rooms?

On CNBC, all of a sudden they are talking about an Iran-Syrian link. Preempt, anyone? Is it unilateral time all over again? There is new terror "chatter" with the Statue of Liberty a target. Time for another Trifecta?

These guys are desperate. As the Diebold scam is exposed more and more each day, with the surprising SAIC report (not a total whitewash) released, along with the mysterious loss of 16,022 Volusia County Gore votes noted in Diebold e-mails. The Stolen Selection 2000 just may gain traction; there are a lot of legs growing on that centipede.

So the 2004 election is no longer the sure-thing they assumed it would be. In fact, they now KNOW they are sure losers, unless...

I think we're very near the breaking point.

And our troops are already at the breaking point, so it's not like we can go marching into Syria as a distraction while we're still bogged-down in Iraq. Even another terrorist attack could only backfire against Bush now. Too many Americans would finally wake up and become outraged that our actions in the wake of 9/11/01 have not brought an end to the threat of terrorism. As it is, many people now believe that the terrorist threat against America is far greater because of our invasion of Iraq. Another attack on U.S. soil would only solidify their opinions and perhaps get them fired up in outrage against Bush.

Bush has bullied and insulted the entire world, and now expects the U.N. to pull his fat out of the fire. I hope they stand their ground and let him hang out to dry. I feel very badly for our troops, of course, but I think Bush must yet become reviled and humiliated before the eyes of his own people, before the rest of the world can truly offer to help us.

I think the danger now is that Bush, Rove and Co. will likely try something so totally out-and-out crazy to boost his ratings, but will actually cause even greater harm to this country, and perhaps the world as well, and assure the ruin of his presidency.

Dick Gephardt said it best. Bush as a president is most definitely "a miserable failure".

He was on a roll when nobody really understood the consequences of the idiotic policies he permitted his finger puppet to advance. But the game is over. He's got nothing. Bush has nothing. The Neocons are finished. They don't have the military or budget capacity to start another war.

I've been that way since 12/12/00.

I knew then that the next 4 years were going to be bad. I just never thought they would be this bad.

What is scaring me right now is the seeming lack of a plan by this misadministration. This is how they acted before 9-11, sort of like a ship without an anchor. Then 9-11 happened and suddenly they had all kinds of plans. Bu$h suddenly became a stong and decisive leader with a mission, first to invade Afhganistan and to get Osama. Then last fall they rolled out their new product line for 2003 to invade Iraq. This year so far there is no apparent plan? Either they have run out of tricks or they have something else up their sleeves that will make 9-11 look like a car bombing. Isn't an animal the most dangerous after they've been wounded? That's what this misadministration reminds me of at the moment, a wounded animal with rabies.
