Holy Cow!!! I'm BLOWN away!!!!
Edited on Thu Sep-25-03 08:24 PM by janekat
I was doing a google search on that "Conspiracy of Silence" video. I'm reading some articles on it - went down to the bottom of the page and HOLY TOLEDO!!!! THIS link was at the bottom of the page....

http://www.freerepublic.com/forum/a388cd49f5ce8.htm

The Free Republic site had al of this info. on "Conspiracy of Silence"!!! Apparently someone from there researched all this. Put together tons of articles and posted it to the message board (this was apparently on there from at least 01/24/2000 until at least 02/23/2002. Could still be on the freeper site for all I know. Apparently they put it under some section "conspiracies."

It looks like every one of them did believe it and was totally disgusted...

Here's some of the posts:

"So, apart from the "Washington Times," the whole Washington press corps, led by Leonard Downie of the "Washington ComPost," ignored this 1989 story. Mainstream-media suppression of the news was alive and well long before the Clinton administration."

Another:
"A thousand thank you's for this post although it both sickens and enrages me."

Another
"I bet you get yanked from the board, I think the establishment wants Bush in office no matter what the cost."

Another:
"Helen, I know you won't like this one for several different reasons, but when you get time, please read it. It didn't start with Clinton and it won't stop with him either. Remember, most of what Wallaby has provided comes from the Washington Times, not some lefty rag."

another:
But baby W says "we need to put all of this behind us."

another:
"Make that "Spitz" Channell , purportedly having been tied in with a Poppa Bush covert operation to bring wealthy folks on board V.P. Bush's presidential ambition's train."

Another:
"Thanks for the thread. Will take some time to digest it all, but I think it's all a part of BCCI: http://www.fas.org/irp/congress/1992_rpt/bcci/

Another:
"This is intense! And well researched. My hat is off to you. I've bookmarked this. And people wonder why I'm so anti-government."

Another:
"I have NEVER heard this story on TV from our supposedly free press. It amkes me wonder just how much of the press those low-life beast in Washington control!"

Another:
"This is the REAL world of politics and government. Slime and filth beyond a normal person's ability to comprehend. People need to stop thinking God and morality can be found in government becuase government is essentially evil, it is run by man, not God. The Christian community should know very clearly this distinction and know their duty does not lay in having an evil government to do their work for them in an unChristian manner just so they can be lazy and irresponsible. When the people choose Solomon as their King, God wept. Who is your King?"

15. I saved the source code (html) into an html document
If someone from the forum wants it - I can give them the html code.

They could actually make a web page out of it as is. (Obviously - they can't copy it word for word for copyright purposes.)

4. How can they say the poster will be banned?
Is FreeRepublic admitting to being a tool of the vast right wing conspiracy?

16. I tried to save it as an html page...
....but it keeps getting stuck. Too big for my puter, maybe.

Robinson is likely going to yank the whole thing now that it's being mentioned over here.

17. Debra Winger?
I was surprised by the number of women on the list (I guess Evil is an equal opportunity employer, after all) but I was surprised to see her name appear.

Helluva' database, btw - someone put a LOT of effort into connecting those famous dots.

20. Didn't she use to date Bob Kerrey when he was gov of NE?
Her page number matches the many numbers under his name. Anyway, I assume that not every name on the list is part of the crimes--though maybe all are part of the cover-up.... I guess the book needs to be read to know for sure.

22. Why This, Why Now?
It is absolutely shameful that this was so well covered up. But perhaps equally shameful that someone is now trying to use it politically. How else to explain its sudden appearance here?

23. Crisco...I think it's because
back when all this was going on there wasn't a big internet network for it to get the publicity it deserved -- since Reagan had already trashed the (media) Fairness Doctrine, the press didn't do it the justice it deserved. There previously wasn't a way concerned citizens (TOTAL STRANGERS) could discuss this issue among themselves, like we're doing here.

:loveya:

DONCHA LOVE THE INTERNET??

:loveya:

There needs to be a complete exposure and overhaul of who's doing whom, and who's BUYING whom, in our current age of political decay -- on ALL sides of the aisle. This is the 21st century, and it's time there was a new paradigm of how people should be holding their governments responsible for the management of the collective good.

24. Well said, and thank God for the Internet.
Today, we need to be our own free press.

We need to read critically, sift the truth from the mountains of trash, and that's hard work. But that's the price of informing ourselves.
