Woodward sucking up to the admin once again (RE Plame)
Disgusting. What's wrong with this guy?

There's nothing wrong with what Rove did. Rove was unlikely to have leaked the source...

2. Idiot Woodward relies on the same "inside sources" as Novak.
Doesn't he realize his "inside sources" are all trying to avoid condemnation for dirtbag story planting in Woodward and others, if not indictment ?

6. I have a theory about this
Get out the tinfoil...BUT I think Woodward was used by the bush contigent (Oliver Stone's *oil guys*) to take down Nixon in Watergate because they were afraid he would crack about the Kennedy assassination.

Hey, it's my theory...what can I say?

I did watch that tonight and was totally nauseated by Woodward (as usual) although Bernstein didn't mince any words.

Woodward is an operative working for the BFEE and Associates. They wanted Nixon gone -- too much of a loose cannon -- and Woodward, whose background was in INTELLIGENCE, not journalism, was just the guy they needed.

People have bought into the bogus fairy tale that democracy was "saved" when Nixon was brought down. The fact is, it was internicine warfare between crime syndicates, and the REALLY EVIL guys won.

The Watergate scandal was essentially the triumph of the totally fascist wing of the Republican Party. Nixon was a paranoid nutcase who was careening out of control. He made the mistake of thinking he was actually in charge, when it was really his handlers who were busy consolidating power. Once he became a possible liability, he had to go.

And Woodward was just the guy in the position to do the dirty work. Never forget that the Washington Post has been a CIA-owned propaganda organ since the 40's. Do a search on "Project Mockingbird".

15. You just framed my theory way better than I could ever attempt to do
I didn't know about "project mockingbird" but what you just described above is exactly what I now think about Watergate.

I had to laugh last night... Woodward was going on and on about the terrible crimes of Nixon when Nixon IMO was like mother Theresa compared to this *thing* we have in charge now.

I didn't agree with the policies of Nixon nor did I like tha man,
but I would welcome his ghost running the country right about now over this bunch.
