Miles O'Brien is an idiot.
Okay, I usually cut anchors having to fill space some slack, but all of his "expert" insight as a private pilot was wrong -- from the crash itself to plane details to crash details to similar crashes -- his own commercial pilot friend correcting him over and over on facts.

He said no one would make it out alive. Just had a report that everyone made it out as best as they can tell.

He told stories speculating the pilots made bad judgment.

A complete moron. And he keeps shifting positions to try and cover his butt.

4. One of the hardest things for us to accept
is that these "journalists" on CNN and elsewhere are stupid. The evidence all points to the fact that they are blow dried overly made up spokesmodels reading what is written for them. But we don't want to accept it, even as we hate what they are saying. I had an epiphany of sorts when I realized that Judy woofwoof was stupid. Most of them are about at *'s level intellectually and morally.

He says some of the most unbelievably stupid things I've ever heard. After the first London bombings he said that the victims were innocent people, at least in this regard. WTF does that even mean?

14. I don't know why they think he is so smart
Most of the time he's so busy trying to talk over everyone's head that you know he doesn't really know what he's talking about. I couldn't believe how he had most of the passengers dead, even before the first injury reports were available. I'm sure it was a great comfort to the families. :eyes:

19.  I disagree
As a member of the media I can tell you we do not live for this. It in fact can be very upsetting, I've even fought back tears during my newscasts before, and I consider myself a crusty hardass in this business.

20. O'Brien and Blitzer are absolutely brutal
...did you notice the Bobsey Twins trying to get that one eyewitness to say the emergency services people and the crew might not have been doing their jobs properly....they were just picking around for something to criticize....when there's NOTHING to criticize at all!!!

This was a combination of unbelievable luck, maybe even Divine Intervention, a plane crew and emergency services team on the ground who did their jobs swiftly and with amazing efficiency under the most trying circumstances imaginable!!!! This was fucking textbook!!!

Fuck off Miles O'Brien!!!

Fuck off Wolf Blitzer!!!

response, and now just say the Air France crew were the ones alone who did a great job evacuating the plane. I hate sounding like someone angling for a pat on the back for my guys (the Canadian emergency services team).....but Wolf, pal, I won't let you diss them by snubbing their amazing work either. Everybody involved - plane crew, emergency services, passengers - totally rocked.

keen observation from Faux's Sheperd Smith:

"We can only assume that the plane had less fuel when it arrived in Toronto than it did when it left France."

Now before I get completely trashed over this... the reason I don't mind him, is because I cannot tell where he sits politically (that's at least saying something these days if they don't show their bias)

I have never heard him spew right winged bullshit like Wolf (I hate him) and he is certainly a hell of an improvement over that IDIOT Bill Hemmer!

Now go ahead flame away! (I know I know I should be ashamed lol)

33. as a retired flight crew for a major airline
i found his commentary absolutely insulting and worse ..i found it so disgusting to those who were on board that aircraft..is was just sickening!
he repeated bullshit about wind sheer over and over and over like thats all he fing knew about..it was horrible..and disengenous ..
it was an insult to the people who were fighting for their lives on that aircraft...no one can decern the reason for a crash at this point..without talking to the pilots..and even then a lengthy investigation will have to take place for the full reasons..and at the point of a crash.it is not the time to decide what caused the crash..especially by a news hack...who might fly a small plane..it was total bullshit..and i found it beyond disgusting when people were onboard that aircraft attempting evacuation for their lives!
i don't watch cnn anymore as i find they are nolonger news..but i turned it on to see the crash to see if i could see what was going on on the ground...but i was repulsed by their coverage..i finally turned the volumn off and listened to canadian news while looking at cnn pictures..i could no longer listen to wolf and obriens bullshit!

there was little to nothing factual about what they were saying!
