2. Yahoo's top stories has read like that for weeks
It's really been quite incredible. I make a point to check it daily and for the past weeks 95% of the top stories have been damaging to Buscho...

on the morning of 9/11.

not Iraq stories of course, but NEGATIVE for BushCo across the board. (I used to have a great link on the old DU)

9/11 didn't change EVERYTHING but it was sure a sweet event for all thing bush*

5. They're just padding their numbers for the election year
If they run a lot of negative stories about Bush, then around March of next year they can run a lot of hagiographical stuff, and when "analysts" count up the number of negative stories on Bush, they can claim the media is still liberal, while ensuring Bush's election, um, appointment. They do this once a year, it never has any real impact.

Of course, then again, Bush is a complete moron, and once the people actually realize this, they'll turn on him. So it's helpful. I still think by next year this time the media will have lined Bush up nicely for the election.
