Do you want to COMMENT on the situation or CHANGE it??
Before you make your next post:

1). Email your senators and representative at:
http://www.senate.gov/general/contact_information/senators_cfm.cfm
http://www.house.gov/writerep/

2). Call your mayor/community leader and ask what your community is doing to help and how you can get involved

We live in a democracy, folks. It doesn't work unless you participate. If you just want to sit back and criticize the government for their lack of action, that's fine, but you'd better include yourself in that criticism as well. After all, you are apart of the government too!

5. Like voting...
...there should be a paper trail! Emails can be collected at a later date, phone calls cannot. However, there is nothing stopping people from doing both!

6. Better yet, call AND email!!
I did...except Santorum...I felt dirty just being on his website...

Be sure to call your Mayor!!

I called mine and they were eager to do something and happy to know they had the community's support!

Tell your local leaders that you want to help move Katrina victims to be with family members in your community!!!
