Louisiana has a Democratic Governor, who was begging, absolutely begging for help from the federal government, (which is the federal governments job).

Louisiana received little or nothing in the way of help, until republican King Bush arrives to save the day.

The same politics as usual occurred, concerning California and then, Democratic Governor Gray Davis, who begged Bush and the federal Government to put a cap on the hundreds of billions of dollars being gouged by (Texas based) ENRON, on California consumers.

Bush refused to help.

As disgusting as it sounds...This is the Bush/Rove republican way of doing things, fuck the people, (and the democrats), as long as it helps the republicans in the long run.
