A. it's not true - Mississippi and Alabama people are incensed at the pathetic handling of this too...

B. Assume it is true...what kind of nat'l leader doles out humanitarian need only to memebers of his own party.....no way to spin that in a good way

8. My nephew's Guard unit is in MS
He's supposed to be providing medical services but he has one IV bag and no bandages, as of last night anyway. He said all the supplies are going to NO.

5. RW talking point. And it's NOT true.
Just go to google news and do a search on "complaints. Mississippi. Federal response hurricane". You'll hit paydirt. I used it earlier today to refute a RW talking point on another board I post at (non-political as a matter of fact)!

7. LOL, simple answer NO was below city level and the levees broke
That did NOT happen in the other two states. Delay is reaching, desparate. I would have expected something a bit, just a bit more intelligent that that.

9. Alabama hasn't had the humanitarian crisis that MS and LA had
Dauphin Island and Bayou La Batre (Forrest Gump)got it the worst. Don't get me wrong, I love these places. BLB is the worst off, it's a shrimping, seafood industry town. DI is mainly a vacation destination. They both need help and had major damage but I think MS needs help worst than Bama. Please don't flame me, my fellow Alabamian's, if you've had a bad experience. I haven't heard about things being really bad in Bama.
