Of course that was right prior to the 2004 sElection and in a state that could go either way.

Plus if I may add something rather telling Charlotte County Florida is primarily White and votes faily Red.

New Orleans is WAS decidedly not.

1. They made sure it went red. I recall reports saying many got money that

didn't deserve it or need it. I don't know if that is true. But supposedly a lot of financial aide went to areas with minimal damage.

Just that they were fast and furiously handing them out.

Then again I've been told that they're trying to get some back now...

3. I' m sure most needed it. But they didn't seem to care to check on who

really did at the time. I suppose now that the election is over they want it back. Kind of like a loan that you didn't know the terms of. Probably figured out who voted for Kerry and asked for the money back. Haha

4. West FLA Coast House Reps

Well, the Representatives for the west coast of Florida were Porter Goss and Katherine Harris. My RW in-laws live in Venice, FL. I don't think that they let Dems into that town. The local repug party office is right on one of the main streets.
