Has any actual foreign aid made it to the US?
I've heard tons of info of the red tape and crap that holds up some. Sweden had water purification and equipment to help with cell phone networks...some kind of bureaucratic BS.

2. It's a slap in the face for every country that tried to help you!
Especially for those poor countries that hardly have anything themselves:

Afghanistan: 100.000 Dollar
Bangladesh: 1 Million Dollar
Kosovo: 500.000 Dollar
Cuba: 1100 doctors
Peru: 80 to 100 doctors, medical equipment, food
......and so on, complete list here:

The help did reach the US but is stuck there now. Germany sent 70.000 emergency rations, medical equipment, medical teams for vaccinations, water purification plants, modern pumps plus the guys to work them, medical planes and experts for crisis management.

As far as I know none of this is being used yet! The guys with the pumps are right outside of NO - doing nothing, forbidden to enter the city.

Nice, huh?

5. This is not only a slap in their faces, but also
criminal. imo. I am ashamed of our government. It's why I keep working on changing it, for the sake of this world. These monsters are incapable of seeing humanity and the bond of the human race, they can only see what is there to exploit and manipulate, to steal and destroy.
I'm sorry, working on it!

11. Israeli help on the way to US
"Magen David Adom workers have wrapped up 15 tons of equipment and supplies for US victims of the Katrina hurricane.

Among the products to be sent are baby food and clothing, bed linen, disposable diapers, mattresses and bottled water donated by individuals, public organizations and companies.

The shipment will leave on Thursday on a plane leased for this purpose and be flown to the US, where the American Red Cross will distribute it to some of the hundreds of thousands of survivors and homeless people in various states.

Donations of money can be made to the Fund for Victims of Katrina via Bank Hapoalim, Yitzhak Sadeh branch (#720), account #310640 or by calling the toll-free number 1-800-390-101, which will also accept donations of equipment."
