Here's how the conversation happened:

MB: Hi!

RF: Oh hiya Modem!

MB: Do me a favor and check out CNN.com

RF: Why, are you on it?

MB: No, no, just open it up and check out the headline.

RF: Okay. Three second pause God damn it.

MB: Laughing hysterically This is revenge for the time you made me watch the Monica speech.

RF: Yeah, but your guy actually DID something!

MB: And yours didn't! Which is why he had to take responsibility.

RF: AARRRGGGHHH!

We talked a little bit about this coming weekend. He and his wife are having a small barbecue and my partner and I can't make it. But that was essentially 90% of the conversation.

There's no swaying this guy to the dark side. But I did get his wife to vote Kerry in 2004.
