Protest Illegal NYPD Arrests
New York cyclist arrest counter: 566 (as of Aug. 26, 2005)

Take Action Now!

* Send a letter to New York City's public officials
* Spread the word

UPDATE: 48 cyclists were arrested at the latest New York City Critical Mass on August 26. According to reports on New York Indymedia, people were arrested for "parading without a permit" and the police even arrested bicyclists who were obeying all traffic laws.
