Pics from solidarity PEACE MARCH in St Paul on Saturday!
Edited on Sun Sep-25-05 04:47 PM by bvar22
Our group met at the intersection of Snelling & Summmit in St Paul, Minnesota.
The Media estimated 800. I though it was over 1000, but it was difficult to get a count because the group was spread out. Many lined the intersections and showed signs and waved at the traffic while others listened to a couple of (thankfully) very brief speakers. One WAM group from Augsburg handed out postcards addressed to bush* with END THE WAR" in bold across the front.
We then we marched to the Post Office to mail our postcards en masse.
Our group was energetic, united, resolved, and upbeat. It was inspiring to see so many young and old joining together in common cause.
We had the news about the overwhelming numbers who had made the trip to Washington DC which added to our celebratory spirits.
We ARE the MAJORITY, and we are not silent!
We WILL BE HEARD!!!

Thanks to everyone who made the trip to DC!!

The Democratic Party is a BIG TENT, but there is NO ROOM for those who advance the agenda of THE RICH (Corporate Owners)
at the EXPENSE of LABOR and the POOR.

1. But, but, but KKKarl Roving fuckface said you people are clowns
and the Peace movement is non-existant. :sarcasm:

So you people don't exist. Wow, there is alot of figments of my imagination in this post.

Good work, guys. I love Minnesota. . .And Minnesotans are such great people.

Kicked. :kick:

3. Nice pictures of Minnesotans
protesting the idiot's Illegal War On Iraq!

My favorite picture from yesterday in D.C. was of the man carrying the sign that said "I CAN'T BELIEVE WE HAVE TO PROTEST THIS CRAP!"

5. God,that is BEAUTIFUL
If we could put all the people together that were in all the other states protesting in with the DC protesters yesterday....can you imagine what it would look like? This is what is pissing off the FReeptards so much. They KNOW they are in the minority and their party is OVER....dead,gone.Their glorious leader has finally been exposed for the fraud he really is,the repukes are getting investigated all over the place for high crimes,Fitzgerald (sp?)is digging deeper in his probe of the assholes in the WH.....I mean,ya know they HAVE to be a tad worried,ya think?

I am still laughing at that little hate fest they had today. That was pitiful.I swear,I'm not lying about this, but I was watching it this afternoon and I FELL ASLEEP. **BORING**. :boring: I even missed the guy falling off the stage, dammit. I read it in here, that's how I knew about it. All that talk about how they were expecting 20,000....they were waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay off. LOL
