Does Miller's testimony open door for her NYT colleagues to testify?
Have any other NYT staff been in front of the Grand Jury? Someone Miller works with must know something about what's going on. Given that she's not at all popular with the NYT rank & file, I seriously doubt any of her colleagues would commit perjury for her.

1. If I were a NYT reporter, Judith Miller would be the last person I would
use as a role model. I don't think that what she did has helped the NYT's financial standing. The NYT's has always taken a hit from the conservatives, but now, because of Judith Miller,it's getting a hit from the left, too.

With its move to require subscription for its online services, I fear it will be less and less the paper of this nation. It' a shame too, because when the NYT's wants to be responsible, it has some incredibly good articles.

I almost sort of wonder if this on-line service block has something to do with limiting the articles that are now being printed in the paper. The ones I read yesterday were informative.

2. Judith Miller: Best suited as "journalist" for The Enquirer and The Star
I was delighted when Judith Miller, the pseudo-journalist, was sent to prison. No one deserved it more. The media is most people's only source of information, and this woman has spent the better part of her life violating every journalistic standard known to man by publishing lies. Being lies, many of her stories' allegations are untraceable. How can you track down what doesn't exist? She did no investigation of anything. She merely "socialized" with the right wing (who was more than willing to feed her bullshit), and then convinced the NYT to publish these tall right wing tales. I'm sure the NYT must've thought she was some kind of super-journalist for her prolific and very amazing (albeit false) stories. She's been serving as an agent of propaganda for the right wing for years. The ultimate has been this divulging of the identity of the CIA agent, Plame.

Thank God Miller made no friends among her peers at the NYT. One can only hope her peers are very honest about this opportunist if they get called to testify on this Plame thing.

Socializing with the right wing has sunk her. Their lies and criminal nature will sink anyone.

Fire the woman, I say. She's a joke that belongs working at The Enquirer or The Star, not a serious source of news.
