Is the recall going to turn in to a stinkbomb?
Think about it - this has lowered the entire arena of politics.

Governor recalled in an apparent popularity contect with a "personality" with no experience or credentials.

The only policies he will instigate are the same ones that tanked the US economy for Bush.

I think this "victory" will be another nail in the GOP coffin.

4. This whole recall thing could backfire
If things in this state get worse, then that could spell doom for bush and other repubs nation wide.

2. It could be, but it speaks ill of our future as a democratic society

Our elections are totally at the mercy of an elite group of wealthy media manipulators. Arnold participated in one "debate", displayed no qualification whatsoever, and has perhaps won a true majority in this vote. It could reflect poorly on the GOP, as indeed it ought to. However, it is gradually dawning on me that any damage to der gobernator simply will not be covered in the press. The media whores will cover him in teflon, much as they do for shrub, and Reagan before them.

We lost the foundation of a free society in the telecom deregulations frenzy of the mid '90s.

3. I hope that as soon as the Nazi groper
takes the oath of office, every woman he's ever assaulted files a formal complaint and embarrasses the shit out of him. I for one plan to proudly display a "portrait" of the new governor in my car window - one where his big erect penis is in full view - caption to read "And you thought Gray Davis was a weenie."

6. I thought you were describing Clark!
All that's left is for Clark to become
President, then we can officially declare
the USofA a banana republic!
