Were CA voters allowed to register today?

My CA friend just told me that although he had registered a few weeks ago, he was not in the voter's list. He, however, was allowed to re-register again.

I was surprised because I thought same day registration was not allowed in CA. He said the same thing...

Any idea?

Ca does not have same day registration What they do is give you a differnt ballot and you put your name and address on it. They check to see if you're registered if you are it counts, if you're not its trashed
