I need to get this of my chest........
Let me first say that I hate * & Company as much as anyone. I despise whom they are, what they stand for and what they have done to this country BUT
We are way to giddy over the eminent demise of Delay, Frist and awaiting whom will be indicted when Fizgerald releases indictment probably this week. They spend $75 million of tax payer money to impeach Clinton for a BJ....and now god knows how much will be spent.
We have a country to run and millions need the help of our government. Every time they are distracted from the 'people's business' millions are left to hurt for longer.
We are now living in a culture of 'gotcha' and this is not good for American. Yes, we will get them..and we are back in power they will do their damnest to get us.

sigh......rant over!:argh:

2. You are right, we should all play nice
But THEY STARTED IT!

The Contract With America opened a Pandora's box. How do we close it? If we're nice, we get steamrolled. If we're mean..., well, look how upset you are.

What to do?b

3. I think that is ridiculous
This isn't comparable to the $75million Clinton campaign.

This is politicians who have been behaving as if they live beyond the law being held accountable.

This is what the courts SHOULD be spending their time on.

Jeez Louise.

7. I never understood how Clinton could be impeached...
when his "offenses" weren't impeachable.

13. I thought he got impeached for what he said in the deposition
during the Paula Jones case....he lied under oath.

I'm not defending Starr or all the crap that went along with the witch-hunt. But I dont think his actions got him in trouble, it was his trying to cover them up that did it.

14. I think you're right. If he'd told them
"Yeah, we did some playing around, what of it? Now go f#&@ yourself..." they wouldn't have had anything on him.

I was so mortified over the Clinton impeachment business-- the media went bonkers (of course, it was the RW media) and reported every little last smidgen of evidence. A true piranha-fest. I was appalled, but not by Clinton!!!

6. In the event that we can get back in power
in spite of fraudulent elections, I think that peak oil and the coming energy related recession might cut down on the payback. We're all probably going to be screwed since we've waited this long to implement a real energy policy. :scared:

9. Let them off the hook now and all they are going to do is more evil
and advance their contract on America. This isn't about revenge - it's about defense - the best defense is a strong offense.

10. Somehow we have to do both
bring the crooks to justice and get on with the work of the people. We have to be very careful not to get involved with frivolous stuff, and so far I don't think we have. DeLay is a crook..

Now the Gannon stuff, that level..that is just diversionary and probably not worth other than a snort or two.

11. You are silly.
Clinton got a blow job. Bush fucked the country. The issues that Fitzgerald is investigating have to do with the lies that led us to war in Iraq. It's the difference between shit and sugar.

Not counting the deaths..........these neo-cons are a threat to the future of America....Blow jobs are nothing, just a waste of money. The fuck job is what I worry about, my rear end can't take anymore BushCo. Getting them back is not the issue.....Bill was wrong but not like what is happening now.............Fuck we are broke as a country and floating loans from China and who knows who........we need real leadership and not sell out to Corporate America!

18. These charges reveal the corruption at the heart of the GOP
I think they are emblematic of the whole problem. These people wouldn't be where they are had they NOT been dishonest.

We need to stop attacking our fellow Dems on issues that are small when there are so many other bigger and more dangerous things ahead.
