One to cook up intelligence for the war in Iraq and spread the false intelligence through Judy Miller and the NYT. That was what the WHIG was formed for.

The second was the conspiracy to out Valerie Plame and her operation, and spread the name through the news.

Any comments?

Call me a :tinfoilhat: but that contract for yellowcake was so bogus, I say it was planted to get someone from CIA to debunk it, and they'd "eexpose" them accidentally in their honest "reporting" of facts.

3. the only conspiracy is the effort to con the people

they sit around and run scenerios past each other before fleshing them out and using focus groups and in house polls to weigh the different reactions...the fact the government (any government) spend public money to, in effect, defraud the public is the only conspiracy there is! the gopigs have taken a bad habit and made it a necessity (the straussian idea that lying to the people is ok)
the only argument with bush supporters is their insistence that there is no con (unless the dems in power) it's the truth and everyone should act like this is a vast cartoon fulla cartoon characters (thankfully, they think, our betters know the truth and will take care of any problems)
