and it sealed his fate in my mind. He is WAY too boned up about the military.

3. Worries me that the empty headed dolt would be talking about it so often.

Since he is known for not being intellectually curious nor for giving much care to any sort of planning, it seems unlikely he has hit on martial law on his own.

Is it something he has heard discussed when the grown-ups at the big table are talking? He acts like a kid anticipating the latest cool toy. He wants to be the first on his block...

THAT makes me a bit fucking terrified because those guys at the big table will not hand over power peacefully when their turn is up. They have done too many criminal things to ever willingly give up the reins again.
