i'm tired of all the "Ghouliani was a great leader" talk
Edited on Sat Oct-08-05 06:20 AM by JI7
he didn't do much other than give press conferences and that was because the Chimp got scared and went into hiding.

and then it was Hillary and Schumer who fought to bring money into the state to do what they can while Ghouliani just continued to cover up for the administration. and now he is out profiting from the war along with the incompetent fuck Bernard Kerik.

we need to get the truth out about Ghouliani. including things like how he his first wife was his own cousin.

it's not just about whether he will be a Presidential candidate but about him whoring for other Republicans around the country as he did last year. i hate the fucker's face and how the whore media allowed him to put the blame for IRaq mess on the soldiers in order to defend the Chimp.

we can start with Breslin's article on him which tells of all the stuff we knew about him before(and after) 9/11 and before the media started whoring for him.

1. I'm with you. He has now built his career on 9/11 and that is as..
ghoulish as you can get. In his eyes 9/11 made him an expert on terrorism and security. He believes all the rhetoric said and written about him but I sure hope the American people don't.

2. D'accord...

He was a mayor whose popularity was dropping like a rock who just happened to be in office on 9/11. He didn't do anything that Dinkins or Koch or anybody else wouldn't have done.
I'm tired of his face and his lispy voice.

6. So What? You Want to Swift Boat the Guy?
I'm happy to let the RW/Xian Fundie division of the Republican party smear Guiliani, I've no doubt they will.

He's on board with just enough progressive issues (gay roommates) that Dobson will have a fucking field day. If by any chance he should get the nomination, that'll keep a certain percentage of the Republican voter base at home.

I'm more concerned about having a Dem candidate who can and will exhibit the same leadership skills that Guiliani did on 9/11. Maybe you think the ability to get out in front of people and offer strength is something to sneeze at, but the fact that * wasn't able to do that just a month ago is the single largest reason he currently has the lowest approval rating in recent history.

including things like how he his first wife was his own cousin.

I have no idea what you mean by this.

13. no, i'm talking about telling the truth
and it's not about whether he ends up as Republican Presidential candidate as i'm pretty sure he wont make it there.

it's more about him campaigning around the country for right wing Republicans like Bush and other horrible crap like Arnold and his shitty propositions and using his image as a moderate to get independent , moderate type voters to vote for right wingers.

i don't want anyone like Ghouliani in the Dem party.it was Schumer and Hillary who had to fight hard to get resources into the state while the Ghoul when off profiting off of 9/11.

as far as what Ghouliani did in giving the press conferences any Democratic Mayor would have done the same. only difference would have been that the whore media would not have turned them into some heroic figure.

8. Look, I don't like Giulliani at all...
I'm from NJ just outside of New York so I had a first hand view of many of his "tough on crime" tactics particularly quality of life ones and I disagreed with him on all that shit. And I would never, ever vote for him for any office.

But let me say this the day our choices for president are between a democrat who is pro-choice and pro-gay rights, and a republican who is pro gay rights and pro choice then there is most definitely going to be at least a very tiny part of me that will be smiling inside because we will have won the larger battle in this country. I don't think that will happen any time soon, but still just in theory.

9. Thank you! I'm in total agreement! He was always a bully and
street thug who ran a terribly oppressive and corrupt government. He also set a terrible example with regards to "family values" given the dreadful example of how he treated his wife, the mother of his children--a hypocrite without any indication of humanitarian qualities.
