Saddam may face execution before standing trial on all charges
This might have been posted before, but everyone is rather quite about the original reason for going to Iraq. Would this be really ignored?

1. I'm getting so fucking cynical these days...
I can see Bush pushing for this because his poll numbers are so bad.

2. Okay.... I'm no fascist dictator, but doesn't that seem
a little...well, wrong? From a human rights point of view? I mean, come on, the guy's a murderer, for sure, but he deserves his trial(s).

8. A trial might give him the opportunity to share his versions of the story
to the world and it might just expose some of the manipulations and control that take place among governments to control the power and resources. What could he possibly say that could be backed up with facts and that could further reveal the corruptions out there????

7. Do they want to kill him for each offense??? How many lives does
he have?

"We do not want him to be tried for one and let off for others."

Seems to me once he's dead of one crime, that's it. I know, I know, they want to be recognized for all the agony the beast caused in this country, and want to hold him accountable.

Can we do the same to our leader?

12. I'm Not Surprised
I bet SH knows some things that Bush & the others don't want to get out. After all, he was originally our ally. Actually, I have been thinking this for a long time & wondered why they hadn't tried to off Saddam yet. I really think he knows something. I bet Osama probably knows some things too, since he was trained by the CIA.

15. Absolutely... they want to silence him forever
before he has the attention of the world focused on him at his trial, where he would surely tell tales the Bushies don't want told.

14. smoke and mirrors
we wouldn't know if they did execute him or whether this is the real Saddam Hussein - fake? The whole thing is a sham. The Bushes and Hussein are best oil buddies.

16. "US bringing democracy to Iraq"
'No, no!' said the Queen. 'Sentence first - verdict afterwards.'

'Stuff and nonsense!' said Alice loudly. 'The idea of having the sentence first!'

'Hold your tongue!' said the Queen, turning purple.

'I won't!' said Alice.

'Off with her head!' the Queen shouted at the top of her voice. Nobody moved.

'Who cares for you?' said Alice, (she had grown to her full size by this time.) 'You're nothing but a pack of cards!'
