what are the best senate turnover chances we have?
my picks:
1-santorum-he's nuts and voters know it. the guy's toast
2-dewine - gop scaqndals in ohio will do him in. if the dems can quit in-fighting and select a a candidate.
3. frist's seat-supposedly, he's retiring-so whho's our best bet there?

2. In Minnesota for 2006
The seat that is up is already held by a Democrat (Mark Dayton)

Repug Rep. Mark Kennedy has his eye on the seat, but there are several good Democrats that have stepped forward and thrown their hats in the ring.

Unfortunately, Norm Coleman's seat is not up until 2008, and I am looking forward to sending his ass packing.

6. No problem
Nothing really to apologize for.

I, on the other hand, would like to apologize for my state, who foisted Norm Coleman on the national scene. I wish that lily livered, yellow-bellied, lap dogging, turncoat, carpetbagger would go the fuck back to upstate New York, where I know he would be handled in a way he deserves.

3. TimSaler.com says we will pick up 5 seats in 05
http://www.timsaler.com/?cat=9

*snip*
Republican Incumbents Unseated:

U.S. Sen. Jim Talent, Missouri;
U.S. Sen. Conrad Burns, Montana;
U.S. Sen. Mike DeWine, Ohio;
U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum, Pennsylvania;
U.S. Sen. Lincoln Chafee, Rhode Island.
*snip*

I think we have a strong shot at TN, MN, and AZ as well. If all goes well we could take back the Senate and at the very least be in strong position for 08. Things are looking up.

Too bad the elections are next November, and not this November.
