A thought about Halliburton being awarded the NOLA rebuilding Contract
Kellogg, Brown and Root, a Halliburton subsidiary has been awaded the rebuilding contract. If the excellent job they’ve done in Iraq is any measure, a full 20% of the Gulf Coast should have full power by the year 2015.

1. Aren't you being a little optomistic on your time frame? I don't think
the Iraqis will ever have full power. Not as long as we're there.

KBR is Kellogg-Brown and Root, and Brown and Root was the company that got built by fat contracts in Vietnam. Jesse Brown was an LBJ patron.

3. with their former CEO as Vice President, Halliburton shouldn't . . .
be getting ANY federal contracts for anything, anywhere, at any time . . . especially no-bid contracts . . . talk about in-your-face corruption! . . .
