I Don't Know If You All Realize This,
but we are winning in the war on truth. People are fed up with being fed the usual right wing BS. In fact I have noticed a change in tone from freepers that troll at another site I go to often when I feel like hunting a few. I just love spreading facts. It's like spraying insecticide on a nest of cockroaches.

Watch as the GOP pundits come out against our "leftest" radio talk show hosts. They, being the right, will lose. You can only lie so much in the eyes of the public. Each right wing pundit will inevitably out themselves as partisan hacks pushing lies. Have faith in the truth people.

Fortunately for all of us, themselves included, they are too arrogant and stupid to see their own defeat.

Last question: How do you forgive a traitor to your country?

1. As to that last question
who are you referring to?

If you are referring to the Bush Gang, well you don't really, but you focus on doing those things that will ensure such people don't rise to power again (of course we might well differ on what those things are).

4. Some of them need to be stomped on as they come running out of their
dark hiding places...

5. Uncle Joe took care of them....
everybody hates stalin, but if the same dishonest tone which affect the public today in america was also prevalent in the dear old USSR (sigh) then maybe Stalin's harassing these guys until they were forced to STOP IT....was a needed thing (?)
I know stalin is considered a monster, and that the USSR (sigh) is better off dead, but the BIG LIE we see working so amazingly here/now, and considering the USA etc are fulla milk fed toughs capable of stealing africa's wealth, or overthrowing governments in iran, chile, australia, guatemala and so on to feed the corporate pig, yet THEY ARE ROBBED TOO! then maybe all the stories about how horrible stalin was is also a big lie when you take into account there a probably millions of our people who, to be blunt, need to be 'neutralised' somehow to stop them from destroying the world trying to save themselves and the pig's privileges from legal justice...

6. Good point
It's a good thing to recognize, I heartily agree.

As for "Last question: How do you forgive a traitor to your country?"

In my mind, it's easier to forgive the mostly just deluded populace by also feeling sorry for them - and as for the traitorous leaders, I worry not at all about forgiving them. The populace following them have been sold out more than the rest of us, and, many of their ideals are going to be lost in the shuffle, thrown out with the bath water, and there isn't much they can do about it. Short of the real and second coming, complete with a introduction by God, bibliography and endorsement by Mother Nature, there isn't a darn thing they can do to prove they were "right". Christianity? Homosexuality? Womens rights to abortion sacrificed for microscopic "life at conception"? Family values? From wagers of war? No, it's all going to fall apart, is falling apart.

I've been saying for a few years now, and I'm sure I'm not the only one, that what has happened our nation politically, what they all wanted to happen, with complete Republcan control and more "Christian Values" in public life, is going to be a bitter pill. It's going to be a lot of guilt, for those many that realize, finally realize, what monsters they supported, and what they allowed to be done in OUR name, by people that weren't even really Christian in the first place. When these people understand they let liars take over our country for greed, and they believed it all. Bush supporters will know they were/are fools.

It will be a measure of our national integrity as to how many still have enough honestly left in them (do you think they remember the word?) to come out and say so. Maybe even join the ethical side of the fight.

Atonement people, I say atonement is the only thing that will set you free, those of you that finally "get it".

Then again, there will be some for whom forgiveness is almost impossible, because they will not admit to having done wrong, and do not care that so many other people think they have. Those types, honestly, I'm not going to waste my time thinking about. They'll be the least prepared for the troubles we're facing, and in all reality, there won't be as many of them later, due to their own foolish refusal to see the impending danger.

Look at them as an endangered species, the neocon hold-outs.

7. I think you are wrong.
Edited on Mon Oct-10-05 08:56 AM by Village Idiot
You "misunderestimate" the abject stupidity of the collective USAsian population. ShrubCo have proven, time and time again, that you only have to fool SOME of the people ALL of the time, or ALL of the people SOME of the time in order to retain an appearance of legitimacy in the WH...

Most of the people I am forced to associate with on a daily basis are RW'ers and/or BushBots...these people BELIEVE!!! It's a scarey world, at present. Hopefully next year, things will get a little better and good times will return in 2008.

8. What does "forgive" have to do with it?
There are laws against treason. The question is, can those laws be brought to bare? If treason has been committed, then the punishment should fit the crime.

As for "forgiveness": When these evil fucks have themselves suffered the pain of the tens of thousands of maimings and deaths they are responsible for both directly and indirectly--and all the emotional suffering that has gone with them--then perhaps we can discuss "forgiveness". IOW: It ain't gona happen in this life time.
