1. The public may be tiring of his incessant PR campaigning now.
And I hope they notice the corporate media that has been complicit for 6 years now in pushing this fraud.

5. Think Jimmy will be there?
Somehow I get the feeling Mr. Carter will steer clear of the shenanigans. If I were him I would.

11. Didn't he hit his thumb with a hammer once before?
Except for the comedy value, this doesn't bode well. Rove and the rest of the manipulators have run out of ideas, and people aren't happy about being gulled by the previous ones.

16. This is probably the only home for a poor person the repubs will build.
They took funding away from Community Services Block Grant program, which provides money to help low-income people with essential living expenses such as housing, food and heating costs. They also took funding away from helping poor people with heating bills.

I guess * was so heartbroken over those votes that he's making a big sacrifice himself. Sure hope the poor in NO and the frozen poor up north appreciate all his efforts.

Edited on Mon Oct-10-05 09:45 AM by Botany
a 28 oz Estwing hammer
a 7 1/4" speed saw
a router (get a 1/2" rounding bit in it)
and let him work from scaffolding that he put up.
a Porter Cable hammer drill would be funny too.

19. The Ballad of Little George
Found this little gem:

The Ballad of Little George
If it doesn't fit, use a bigger hammer

When George W was a little bitty babe
No bigger than his name
He picked up a hammer
And he hit his poor thumb,
And he went out and found someone to blame,
(Lord, Lord!)
He found him somebody else to blame.

>>>

So they made little Georgie the Governor
Hammerin' out laws with his pen
And for every thing
That he gave the common folk
He gave another five to his friends,
(My God!)
He gave another five to his friends.

And they hammered George into the White House
And he's there to this very day
With all the enemies
Of the civil liberties,
In a holy and self-righteous way.
(Thanks, Lord!)
In a holy and self-righteous way.

Now, you folks wanta listen,
To the lesson in my tale:
When you hear a man
Say he's hammerin' out a plan,
Make sure that you ain't the nail,
(Good God!)
Make sure that you ain't the nail.

I let Habitat For Humanity take out ten bucks a month from my credit card and if this encourages right wingers to contribute than that's good...

Whatever bush works on will fail and cost them more than the entire house is worth.
