It is apparent that Rove lied to * and Fitz will put his ass in a sling for it.
As John Conyers puts it, "...Oh, and there is more evidence that Rove lied to Bush about his role. How long do we have to wait before someone takes responsibility in this Administration?" See
"What Karl Rove told the President"Playing a hunch, I entered the string "Rove lied" (with quotation marks) into Google news. Of couse, there were no hits, were you expecting the korporate media to pick up and run with this? However, I found many for the string without the quotes.

Everyone would agree that we need to bring all our troops home from Iraq. While most politicians and military men ponder how to do this, there is a very simple way immediately available, to wit: Since we lied our way into the war, how about we lie our way out of it. Vice President Dick Cheney, Karl Rove, Donald Rumsfeld and Condaleeza Rice would form a committee to prepare and release press reports, hourly, describing the incredible successes of our U.S. armed forces in Iraq.
Truth, of course, would not be allowed because "truth" is what it is and you can't change it. A lie, on the other hand, can be changed by another lie if the first one turns out unfavorable to your interests. Since we know these four officials are highly skilled in "spinning" the news, they are eminently qualified for this important assignment.
Notably, George W. Bush is not recommended for this project since he is incapable of original thought. However, Michael "you're doin' a heck of a job" Brown as well as Tom "I didn't do anything illegal" DeLay would be excellent alternates.
