"CRIMINALIZATION OF POLITICS" (Get Ready, This Will Be The Mantra)
Edited on Mon Oct-10-05 10:31 AM by Beetwasher
People, I have some great news. They are already starting their spin because they know indictments are coming. The "Criminalization of Politics" is what the spin will probably be.

Kristol: One or More Indictments in the Next Three WeeksE

"Someone like Bill Kristol doesnt get information like this by accident. Its being fed to him so, if there is an indictment, he can prepare the base. Towards the end of the segment, Kristol got started, saying, I hate the criminalization of politics.Equot;

"Judd" at Think Progress is indeed correct about Kristol preparing the base. They are getting the spin ready and this is terrific news because it's quite pathetic.

1. They are the ones who brought the criminality to politics.
They are politicians who also happen to be criminals. They got caught. Justice is being pursued, and quite naturally, the accused don't much care for it. They will have their day in court as would any other American (except the nebulous "Enemy Combatants")

Spin as they may, I believe the American People understand that progression of events.

6. Pre-internet, that's how they defended IranContra and BCCI, too. To cover
for the actual crimes against the constitution in both those cases by the GOP administartions, they claimed that Dems were trying to criminalize POLICY DIFFERENCES.

We can't allow it to happen again post-internet.

8. Well we want the criminals in politics removed from office.
Our country is straining under huge deficits, soaring gas prices and a national tragedy (Hurricane Katrina). They need to be run out of Washington on a rail.
