Chuck & Hillary! I Demand That You Investigate the FAKE Terror Alerts >
Edited on Mon Oct-10-05 06:03 PM by Stephanie

WHO keeps jerking New York's chain? Is it Bush, or Bloomberg, or Bloomberg on behalf of Bush?

Who is using FEAR to boost their poll numbers? Bloomberg, too cowardly to debate Ferrar last week? Or Bush, caught in the downward spiral of failure on every front.

These alerts cost money. They take a toll on fragile psyches. It is INEXCUSABLE if they are being falsely hyped for political reasons.

I demand that my New York Senators demand an investigation. Enough is enough. Tell them to LEAVE NEW YORK ALONE. I've had it. Haven't you?

N.Y. police ease subway security measures
Crackdown was prompted by report of al-Qaida plot, since uncorroborated

Updated: 5:38 p.m. ET Oct. 10, 2005

NEW YORK - After four days on high alert, police announced Monday that they were scaling back recently increased subway security, measures prompted by a report of an al-Qaida plot to blow up trains.

***

Officials said they were still investigating the claims by a government informant that al-Qaida operatives in Iraq had schemed to attack the New York subway using baby strollers and briefcases packed with remote-controlled explosives. Officials also continued to defend a decision to flood the subways last Thursday with thousands of extra police officers.

Phantom terrorists

The suspects in custody in Iraq denied they planned to coordinate with operatives who were already in the city to carry out an attack, said two law enforcement officials. The men passed polygraph tests, the officials added.

“The people supposedly standing by in New York probably were never there,” one of the officials said. Both officials spoke on condition of anonymity because the investigation had not been completed.

1. What about the faux tularemia scare on Sept 24 in DC-only picked up during
a 24 hour period between 10 am on Sept 24-10 am on Sept 25. Sounds suspicious to me!

6. I fear BUSH more than Osama BinLaden
Why? We KNOW what AlQeada wants to do. Bush is a lier, cheat, etc, etc.

I stopped believing in these "terra alerts" LONG TIME AGO. They come up whenever Bush is sinking in the polls, or wants to push some part of this agenda, ad infinitum.

4. Yes, I have had it with all the terror alerts in NYC and Washington DC..
or anywhere else they choose to spread fear. Soda cans and baby strollers are now terrorists weapons. How much more ridiculous are they going to get. I'm with you regarding Clinton and Schumer investigating these terror alerts.

7. There was some talk of an investigation
...when Ridge left DHS and said that he often disagreed with WH when terror alerts were raised.

Just like 90% of these things, we never heard anything more. Seems like we should revisit the issue now, eh?

And while we're at it, let's bring back the Bush drinking stories and the interesting ones about British agents in disguise as insurgents.

8. Ridge can be the first witness
When Chuck and Hillary hold the hearings.

Unless they want to wait for ELIOT SPITZER to take care of this!

12. They have done so historically. The biggest amounts of terror alerts
occurred during the 2004 election. At that point there were people on the net who tried to chart it. Here is one site from August 2004. Scroll down to August 5th

13. David Letterman had a policeman posted behind him during his show
in typical Letterman sarcastic fashion. Kept asking the guy if everything was safe, alright, anything suspicious...?
