6. Howard Fineman, James Moore (Bush's Brain author),
and Richard Wolff, the author of a new Vanity Fair article are all on, speculating on who might be indicted.

8. He is really presenting it fairly completely tonight
One of his guests, Howard Findman, said that there is massive division in the admin with Andy Card against Rove and Cheney.

They said it all goes back to the war.

The war. Imagaine that?

Too many pix of Rove. ARGHGHGHGHGHGHG!

My TV just exploded!

4. Tweetys lead in statement was actually quite good.
That the case was tied into false claims by the administration to lead us into war, for example. That it's a question of whether high office holders broke any laws in actions which outed a CIA asset, and if so, which laws and which officials.

on "The West Wing" over the weekend. Whatever it takes. Welcome to reality Tweets.

14. I think Tweety does these kind of shows every so often just to keep
a few Dems watching.

I have to give him credit tonight though. He and his guests are pulling NO punches.

Michael Wollfe of Vanity Fair said the entire WH is worried right now, because this thing could wash across all of them!

Yeah, Tweety is a schizo, and tomorrow he'll probably be fellating the Bushies again, but the guest talking heads are really pounding on KKKarl and talking about what a duplicitous snake the guy is.

13. Iraq War, and its false premise, is the tell tale heart beating under the
White House floorboards.

It's the original sin of shrubco, and it underlies everything, the reason for exposing Plame to punish Wilson, lack of funds for New Orleans levees, lack of National Guard troops/equipment for New Orleans because all diverted for Iraq... All of it...

That's a great line. We need a Poe to write the story today.

25. Nope, I don't believe
Edited on Mon Oct-10-05 06:41 PM by slaveplanet
the reason for exposing Plame was to punish Wilson.... no, I believe they outed Plame because she stumbled onto some serious shit this cast of dark actors were up to...and she needed to be stopped toot sweet....it mattered not who it harmed, nor how treasonous it was. The consequences of taking no action was not going to be something they would let happen.
What she latched onto was obviously so heinous, that facing down Fitz in a joust seemed like the favorable avenue... and I believe it has a lot to do with what Sibel knows.

18. Tweeety and Fineman both say Shrub has been operating without
the Cheney wing of the party for the last few weeks!

He mentioned that when Shrub decided to announce Miers as SC nominee, he called Andy Card and had him call Cheney!

23. At first I laughed when I read that Card is upset with Cheney and Rove...
Edited on Mon Oct-10-05 06:27 PM by higher class
then I remembered that I was convinced that the pecking order is:

. various levels of our unseen rulers - Tri-Lateral Comm & U.S. Cabal
. Fed Society - since they are the one responsible for changing the Constitution to the way the corporations and born-agains want it and they are the lawyers and judges that it will take to do it.
. Cheney
. PNAC
. Rove & Card
. Bush

But, I would have thought Rove and Card held hands on policy and tricks.

Rove is there to think up things and keep Bush contained, but, most of all, to fulfill the orders of Cheney who fulfills the orders of and the Fed Society along with PNAC.

Maybe Card is more of a Bush crony that I thought - or it is all dis-reality again.

28. He's Pushing the "Criminalize Politics" Meme That Will Be Their "Defense"
Or rather, their defense for public consumption. It's the spin that's coming when the indictments come out. The Repubs will cry "Their criminalizing politics! It's just politics! Now they want to make it criminal!" Etc.
